I'm not big on celebrity news, but this is pretty nuts.

That was beyond acceptable. You never call your kid mindless or any of that shit.

Especially over a goddamn phone call.

What makes this funny though is that this is the same Alec Baldwin who took it upon himself to try and use his status as a celebrity to talk down to the rest of the country about how they should vote and feel about issues.

I think it's terrible that they made this public. Yeah, it sucks that he did that and he shouldn't have, but now this girl is even more in the public eye. She probably feels worse now that everyone else knows too.

Dude there's a lot of people on both sides that have gotten political that really just never should have, and he's one of them.

I am saying it has nothing to do with this.

Actually it does because this event is a reason, like the other ones I stated for me to laugh instead of take pity whenever he has a bit of misfortune. That's all I was saying: just another reason for me to dislike the retard.

The subject is he is a bad parent, not his political views.

He forces politics into everything else in his life seemingly, so why not his parenting?

because this has nothing to do with that. I can point out plenty of bad parents who are reps, does that help anything in this case?

I think you are all missing the point.

I mean, what the fuck kind of name is Ireland?

Who said anything about it only being liberal parents that are bad or that bad parents can be only liberal?

Way to read into it something that isn't there, Blonsk. I just said that Baldwin is an outspoken jackass who happens to to be outspoken about politics when it's not at all his place to be any kind of public political figure as a coincidence, and as a second coincidence, he just happens to be liberal.

I am in no way trying to state any kind of correlation. Just stating that an outspoken jackass finally has something come to light everyone can agree makes him a shitty person. It has nothing to do with him being liberal, just that he likes to run his mouth where he has no real credentials to do so. I'd say the same of Rush Limbaugh and O'Reilly and Giraldo give-away-soldiers-location Rivera, and I would say the same about Janine Garafalo and Al Franken if any of those 5 were in this same situation.

Excuse me if you can't get past the fact that I happen to be conservative, and Baldwin just happens to be liberal, but that is not at all my fucking problem.

So I'm not allowed to state that in addition to his political jackassery, I find his parental jackassery to be the same kind of horseshit that makes me not like the dipshit?

no you are not. how does that help anything? the fact that he is political has nothing to do with what he did.

So what is the point you are trying to make here? all democrats are bad parents?

Once again, you're the only one who mentioned his political affiliation, Blonsk. I'm not attacking liberals or democrats here, nor any other group. I'm not generalizing, and I'm having trouble where you get that I ever did make that generalization here.

All I said is that he is one of many people who, without having any place in the political realm, decided to use his celebrity status to be political. It has nothing to do with what his political affiliation is. Toby Kieth pisses me off just as much. There's assholes like both of them all over the political spectrum and they all need to drop the politics from their public statements and just entertain instead. They're entertainers, not political pundits.

Now quit trying to shove words in my mouth that I never said. I never specified anyone's political affiliation, nor did I ever make a generalization about any political group. You're taking what I said way the fuck out of proportion and I don't fucking appreciate it.

Point out exactly where I specified that I hate him for being a democrat, and while you're at it, point out where I said democrats are bad parents, because I have not done either. Me being mostly conservative and him being liberal is just coincidental.

That would have been 100 times funnier if you put it after the argument was over.

srsly

EDITRON: It did at first seem like you were making a correlation between his political propaganda and him being a bad parent. I guess a better choice of words could have had this not happen.

anywho, the name Ireland is pretty lame, eh?
