My personal favourite is a toasted Ham and Cheese roll, in Turkish Bread. Fucking ace!
Also, a nice bacon sandwich with a nice dollop of brown sauce doesn't go unnoticed, either.
My favourite sandwich would have to be the Original from Schlotzsky's Deli, very awesome.

The following is one of my beautiful creations, it is my favorite so far:
(ingredients listed in respective order)
-pumpernickel
-mayonnaise (thin layer)
-sliced turkey breast
-sweet lebanon balogna
-salami
-jalapeno pepper jack cheese
-mayonnaise (thin layer)
-pumpernickel
-mayonnaise (thin layer)
-jalapeno pepper jack cheese
-pepperoni
-ham
-pastrami
-roast beef
-mustard
-pumpernickel
When done right, it comes out to be about 2 pounds of sheer sandwich. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, but this sandwich just wouldnt be right without it.
And of course, one of my favorite things ever is grilled cheese sandwiches dipped in tomato soup.

Well, if we're talking about gourmet sandwhiches, or what have you, i'd say an italian sub from quiznos, lol.
if it's a sandwich that i'm making myself, just white bread, about four slices of salami, a slice of cheese, a tomato slice, and mayonaise will do.
BUT. my favorite thing of all time, is a GRILLED CHEESEburger. First, I cook the frozen hamburger on a skillet. Once that's done, I take it off, and clean the skillet real fast, by putting it under the sink, and then wiping it off with a mass quantity of paper towels. Then, I get two slices of white bread, and put them on a plate. I get a stick of butter, and a knife, and apply butter to one side of each slice of bread. Then, I put cheese on the sides that don't have butter on them. Then I put the hamburger in the middle. The butter side of the bread is on the outside. I then put it back on the skillet. And let it turn into a grilled cheese.
I let it cool for a little bit, and put it on a paper plate. I then get out the Ranch from the refrigerator and put some on the paper plate, so I can dip my amazing grilled cheeseburger in it.

One of my favorite sandwhiches of all time can be purchased at Arby's. It's their Market Fresh B.L.T. It's so amazing.
